I teach in Medford, MA and my class loves watching your content. We are hoping to make some videos of our own. My class has some big idea! My class would like you to make videos about - Not using bad words, Not hitting back (keeping a safe body), Following Playground Rules.
I would love to see videos for even younger kids, with more age appropriate scenarios for common issues - taking no for an answer from adults, school behavior, etc.
I have to agree with the previous post. I have some young Kindergarten and First grade kiddos who aren't yet ready for the conversation stage of pragmatics or the hidden rules of keeping your laptop quiet. What they need are the hidden rules about how to behave with adults who are in charge. Not talking back, accepting things that must be done now, holding onto thoughts for later rather than blurting them out. Since at this age they are not really motivated by how the other kids perceive it, some videos showing how it makes mom and dad sad would be helpful.
Also, I love the video about shifting topics but a video addressing kids who stay on the wave or keep jumping back to it long after it is gone would be good.
I'd like to see more videos about lunchroom/cafeteria behavior, such as eating with your mouth full and giving personal space in that environment (I like the rest of the personal space videos). A video about staring at people and the feelings that it brings would also be helpful.
I would love to have videos for identifying big, medium, and little problems. Maybe even in the game format where students can identify the size of the problem and choose reactions to match the size of the problem. I would love if the videos could talk about how to identify the size of the problem by thinking about how long it would take to solve the problem, how many people the problem affects, and if they can solve the problem by themselves or they need an adult to help them solve the problem.
would love more videos for the K-1 students.
I would like to see videos on problem solving.
I would like to see a video on negativity. Thank you! :)
I have found this resource to be hugely valuable to my students-I'm soooo happy I purchased this!! Thank you for all the videos and especially the activities-based ones. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a "riding the school bus" video of expected/unexpected behavior.? Thank you!

Hi, do you have any videos on social skill boundaries or social distance, such as relationship specific behaviors appropriate for the different relationships with people in the lives? Also, what about videos showing how to be safe in public places, crossing the street, talking to strangers? Thanks!
I love these videos and use them often. I'd like a video that is similar to the Empathy video for older students, but discusses being a "know it all" or "appearing better than". It's not just bragging. I have a student that will often speak to others in condescending tones about topics that their peers are not interested in. For example, this particular 6th grade student came into the speech room complaining that everyone at the school was "so dumb" and that no one knew what "metamorphosis" was or what he meant when he talked about "homo sapiens". He also mentioned to a peer that he didn't want to be in the same group when they were on a field trip because this peer was "so annoying", however, these students normally get along. This student wonders why he doesn't have many friends.
I'd love to see a video about staying with the group during a field trip.
I love the videos you make and my students really enjoy them. I work with students of all ages and functioning levels. I would love to see videos that are set in work place environments for my older transition age students. I would also love to see videos that address not talking aloud to myself when walking (in school hallways or other environments). Thanks
