We've collected all your great video ideas that have been posted on here throughout the year, but if there's a topic, concept, or video type you'd like to see and you haven't shared it with us, this is the place to do it!

I just went through your list of videos to look for some targeting a skill a student of mine needs to work on - reading the cues of others to tell if they are interested in a topic you brought up. My student will often come up to a group, and share some "What if a zombie did ...."
His classmates are clearly tired of these discussion openers, and are giving all kinds of cues they don't want to talk about these topics, but he continues on, as he isn't getting these cues. I've tagged several that may be a bit related (Reading Body Language - Upset, Thinking about others around you, etc.), but I haven't found one specifically dealing with reading cues of communication partners to figure out if they want to talk with you about a topic you brought up.

I have another idea, also - Reading people's facial expressions. I have a student who easily misinterprets facial expressions unless they are almost "over the top" sad, happy, mad, scared. It would be good to have a video that talks about more subtle clues kids could look for, and teach these aspects explicitly. Thanks for this wonderful resource! I use it almost every day with some of my kiddos, and they seem to be getting it, along with review and reinforcement outside of our sessions!

I would love more videos on pragmatic language and self-advocacy for students who spend part of the school week learning work skills (at vocational schools, occupational centers, out in the community). Thank you!

I'd love to see a video about a student overly criticizing another student using language that is too direct. I would also like to see a video about prioritizing what types of mistakes should be brought to a teacher's attention (student calling out a teacher's trivial errors like minor spelling on a worksheet) in class. FInally, a video about how to appropriately correct a teacher using indirect language (Mrs. Jones, I'm confused... I thought the test was supposed to be Friday vs. You're wrong! The test is on Friday!)

More and more of my clients are diagnosed with ODD. They tend to throw tantrums or engage in unpleasant behavior to get what they want without any concern for or realization of how their behavior affects others. I'd love to have videos that show how people perceive such behavior. These kids range in age - at the moment 9 -15 years old, both boys and girls. One kid grunts with an ugly face every time someone of authority (especially his parents) says anything to him. He's perfectly capable of language and uses it when he wants to. Others literally throw things, slam their bodies about, yell, scream, aggress, etc. Each is capable of far more. One recently explained that he/she learned not to do when he saw somebody else do it and realized what that person looked like doing it. More videos please.

"size of the problem, size of the solution" for all ages, as in "explosive reactions" to everyday situations/interactions.

I would love to see more elementary student video modeling. Here are some video modeling ideas for elementary school kids:
Recess- playing on swings, playing on equipment, watching out for others on equipment, playing basketball, playing soccer, joining a group of kids playing a game,
Lunchroom- Getting your food, joining a table, eating with your mouth closed, listening and adding to a comment to a conversation, allowing others to lead a conversation sometimes, introducing a topic of conversation, picking up your space, lining up after lunch.
Morning meeting/Sharing- Share an event about your weekend, perspective taking (others were not with you and need information), give enough information so that others can understand, match the length of conversation with other answers (short vs long sharing).
Classroom- Waiting, especially when a teacher is helping someone else, listening to the teacher talk to others to help you learn, when you don't get a turn, transitioning to speech, gym, art, (special classes) etc., being quiet when the teacher is talking, asking for help, waiting for an adult to finish talking with another adult, asking what a word means, asking for more information or clarification, asking for how much longer the work will be, telling an adult when you are not feeling well, asking to go to the bathroom, asking to take a break, listening to others talking, thinking the answers to classroom questions in your head for extra practice, being quiet during reading time, waiting and listening when a friend is talking

I would love to see a video on excessive crying for elementary aged students. I have had several students who cry (loudly and disruptively) at the drop of a hat. Nothing seems to work to calm them down and the more you try to ignore it or face it head on, the louder it gets (they are not on the autism spectrum). Situations that trigger the crying include: not being called on in class, getting an incorrect answer or being corrected, being reprimanded or receiving constructive criticism, not winning at a game, and so forth.

I would like to see videos on being able to handle situations (ignore, self-talk, etc.) when teased, put down, annoying behaviors exhibited, etc.

I am a mother of a high functioning PDD/Aspbergers student who needs life skills such as ordering in a restaurant, recognizing dangerous situations, calling 911.He absorbs the information better through modeling. Do you have any interest in producing videos like that for growing teens?

I love your videos! My suggestion is to have more of (for lack of a better word) difficult behaviors like hitting, pushing for some of our friends that just can't control those aggressive behaviors.

We have a few students that we are working with that are very hypocritical when it comes to following the rules.For example, they act as the rule police while playing games but don't think that those same rules apply to them.

Also, we are working with one student that has a very condescending tone and doesn't recognize it. Could you possibly come out with a video about not talking down to others?

The hygiene videos that you have are good but they do not go into much detail especially when it comes to teenagers. We have students that pick their nose, ear wax, dandruff etc. A modeling video would be great to show how this is not an attractive behavior.

Embarrassment- I showed a group I was working with a video of social pranks (like giving random people hugs etc.) that made people feel very uncomfortable. My students didn't understand that sometimes in uncomfortable or embarrassing situations it is appropriate to laugh. They thought that these people were laughing because they were happy, thought that it was funny and liked it.

I am so happy to use everyday speech! You guys rock! Also, a lot of my students become fixated on the clothing that some of the girls in your videos wear, This isn't a common theme I see with your videos, but in a few different videos my kids get distracted and that is all they want to talk about. Short shorts and low tops, could you maybe help those students modeling to dress more modestly? Thanks!
